Fudge Brownies

Serves: 25-30 brownies
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups (3 sticks) butter, melted
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs, room temperature
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • nuts, chocolate chips, or other additions to mix in (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or line a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time until combined.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa, and salt and mix until smooth. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan (I baked mine for 40 minutes). Let brownies cool, then cut into squares.
