Basil Gimlet
Serves: 2 cocktails
  • 6 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces lime juice (about 3 limes)
  • 2 ounces simple syrup
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 lime wheels and 2 basil leaves, for garnish
  1. Muddle your basil in the bottom of a shaker until some juices are released. Add in the lime juice, simply syrup, and gin. Fill to the top with ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain twice into two chilled glasses, and garnish with a lime wheel and a basil leaf.
